The peace fleet mirno more is a special kind of sailing tour: Since 1994, war orphans, refugee children, but also people with social, mental restrictions as well as other special needs can participate. Together, they work towards more peace, tolerance and peaceful conflict resolution on the Adriatic Sea.
Mirno More is a private association active as a peace initiative after the Yugoslav Wars and committed to tolerance and international understanding. VIG supports the sailing week with ship sponsorships or by financing T-shirts for the participants. Together, we have one goal with the peace fleet mirno more: to set understanding across borders on course. And thus promote tolerance, respect and international understanding.
Important values
We can only change the world if we actively work on it, tackle things with a positive attitude and exemplify important values. Mutual understanding, solidarity, respect and peaceful coexistence are precisely such values for us. We want to pass them on to the younger generation. That is why we organise programmes and get involved in initiatives that promote precisely these values.
