Yana Weber, IT
“I started working at VIG in early 2010 as a system architect in Group IT. I then went on to head the system architecture team, and since 2012 I’ve also been deputy head of Group IT. We are responsible for consolidating IT infrastructure within the VIG. I grew up in Kazakhstan and studied industrial electronics in Russia. After finishing my degree I worked as a software developer on a host of different projects in CEE. Finally I moved to Austria to take up a position as a senior consultant for an international consulting company, where I was involved in a number of software development and application management projects. I wanted to broaden my professional horizons and that was the main reason for deciding to join the VIG. My job has become a vocation – the exciting, dynamic atmosphere is really motivating and encourages you to do your best.”
