Diversification as the key to resilience
In the Börse Express podcast series "Von Bullen und Bären” (Of bulls and bears) on the topic of investment, Liane Hirner, CFRO, talks about the importance of diversification for the Group's success. VIG is diversified in many ways: Insurance companies and pension funds in 30 countries, insurance solutions in the property/casualty, life and health business, a multi-brand policy, multi-channel distribution etc. This contributes significantly to VIG's stability and is reflected in the continuous payment of dividends to its shareholders.
If we look back, we can see that we are simply a dividend guarantor. We have paid dividends to our shareholders every year without interruption since our IPO in 1994. And I don't think many companies can say that.
