Basic purpose of the medium

Corporate object of the media owner
The Company has the strategic leadership and takes over the central service functions of the group including infrastructure. Furthermore, the Company carries on the casualty insurance business as well as the property insurance business (property damage insurance and pecuniary loss insurance) as well as the reinsurance business in those branches for which it has the approval of the "Versicherungsaufsichtsbehörde" (Insurance Supervision Authority).

As far as they relate directly to the insurance business, the corporate objects of the Company shall be:

a) acquiring interests in other companies;
b) acting as an insurance intermediary;
c) acting as an advisor for insurance matters;
d) acting as an intermediary for mortgage loans and personal loans, and for the acquisition and disposal of securities, provided these activities are connected to the insurance business;
e) acting as an intermediary for home loan and savings contracts;
f) providing automatic data processing and information technology services;
g) establishing and managing organisational institutions for companies in which the Company holds an interest or with which a cooperation agreement has been concluded;
h) performing administrative tasks for companies in which the Company holds an interest or with which a cooperation agreement has been concluded;
i) operating private medical facilities in the form of company outpatient clinics that provide medical treatment to employees of the Company.
